Ivy Roark Obituary
Born in Denver, Colorado, on September 19, 1947, she was the beloved daughter of the late Peter and Caroline Moreno. Ivy had been a resident of Ogdensburg, New York, since 1993.
A dedicated homemaker, Ivy was celebrated for her incredible cooking and the lively dinner parties she hosted. Her home was a place of warmth and laughter, filled with delicious food and lasting memories for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Dr. Michael F. Roark, who passed away in 2003. Ivy's gentle spirit, strength, and love for her family will be deeply missed.
Ivy is survived by her loving son, Dominic Solis, her sisters Joyce Snodgrass and Cynthia MacDonald, and her "adopted daughter" Mercedes Clark.
A Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Therese Chapel in Nicholville, New York, followed by burial in the parish cemetery.
