Mrs. Naomi Roark

Mrs. Naomi Roark January 22, 1942 - September 29, 2025 Naomi Roark age 83 of Tazewell passed away Monday September 29, 2025, at the Claiborne Medical Center. Naomi was born January 22, 1942, in Tazewell, TN to Richard and Rachael Cosby who precede her in death. Naomi retired from the Claiborne County Hospital where she worked in the laundry department. She attended Riverside Baptist Church.
Naomi is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Rachael Cosby, brothers Ancil, Joe, Rufus and Henderson sisters Addie, Media, Elsie, Edith and Margaret.
She is survived by her husband Glenn Roark, daughter Pattie Cole and husband Mark, granddaughter Carrie Reed and husband Brad, brother Roy Roark, and sister Agnes Dunsmore. Several cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of other friends and relatives.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 1, 2025, from 5:00pm till 7:00pm in the Claiborne ~ Overholt Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Danny Masingo and Chaplain Pamela Barras officiating. Burial will follow Thursday October 2, 2025, at 11:00am in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Brad Reed, Mark Cole, Dennis Love, Jerry Short, Greg Moyers and Hayden Farr.
