Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home - CalhounJ. Larry Crump, 83, of Adairsville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025. He was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on September 7, 1942, to the late John Howard and Geneva Skyles Crump. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy Crump and Edward Crump.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Linda Crump; sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin Crump, Jeremy (Sarah) Crump; grandchildren, Carol-Ann (Jacob) Hardin, Jeremy “J.D.” Crump, J. Myles Crump; niece, Melissa Crump; and a great-grandchild on the way, Zeeklan Hardin.
Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his grandkids dearly and was often the voice of reason when times got tough.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM from Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Free officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Jason Burnette, Jaime England, Josh England, Jeremy "J.D." Crump, J. Myles Crump.
