J.H. Morgan, 93, of Dermott, Arkansas passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at his home. A service honoring his life will take place at the Griffin Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee, AR on September 14, 2025 at 3:00PM. Born in his family's home in Bellaire, AR on March 2, 1932 to Roy Franklin and Dessie Bell Morgan (McDaniel), J.H grew up working on the family farm in Bellaire, planting his first crop at 14 years old in 1946. J.H. enjoyed hunting and being outdoors throughout his life as well as spending time with family (especially his grandkids). He also was a man who loved the Lord and lived his life as an example of faith. J.H is preceded in death by his son Randy Keith Morgan as well as his own parents Roy Franklin and Dessie Bell Morgan (McDaniel) along with his brothers Ferrell Dee Morgan, Idas Alton Morgan (infant) and Bentley Eugene Morgan (infant). He is survived by his wife of 73 years Janie Corene Morgan (Duncan) and their children Danny (Rhonda) Morgan of Chalk Mountain, TX, Cynthia (Bruce) Kizer of Collins, AR and Anthony (Dee Dee) Morgan of Dermott, AR, His Brother, Horace (Glenda) Morgan, His Sister Sylvia Morgan Loyd and his grandchildren: Derick (Jessica) Morgan, Donnie Morgan, Daphne (Larry) England, Danielle (Steven) Shelton, Nicholas Harvey, Cody Harvey, Courtney (Jeremy) Pate, Casey Livingston, Charley Livingston, Randa Morgan, Jay Morgan, Jordan Morgan, Caleb (Lauren) Morgan, Rachel (Bryan) Pace, and the big boss Morgan England. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren. J.H will be remembered for his faith, kindness and love for his family. Friends and Family are invited to Griffin Culpepper Chapel in McGehee, AR on September 14, 2025 at 2:30-3:00PM for visitation with a Funeral Service to follow at 3:00PM with Brother Ronnie Garrett officiating. Pallbearers include, Danny Morgan, Anthony Morgan, Derick Morgan, Donnie Morgan, Caleb Morgan and Jay Morgan. Honorary pallbearers are Larry England, Logan England, Nickolas Harvey, Cody Harvey and Charley Livingston.
