Charlie E.A. "Chip" Morgan Jr.

Charlie "Chip" Emmet Ashburn Morgan Jr. of Virginia Beach passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Chip was born in Arlington County, Virginia on October 31, 1947. As the son of an Army Lt. Colonel, Chip lived in multiple places and settled in Virginia Beach where he attended and graduated from Frank W. Cox High School in 1967. Chip was an avid athlete and wrestled at the state level.
Upon graduation, Chip worked in the shipyard industry. He proudly opened and ran Morgan Tank Cleaning Gas Free Services Inc. until retirement.
Chip found joy in spending time with his family and his friends, spoiling his dogs, helping anyone who was lucky enough to cross paths with him, and listening to music. To know Chip was to love him.
Chip Morgan is survived by his wife Jo Ann, daughters Rachel and Ashley, son Chip, grandchildren Mya, Max, Ian and Riley, great-granddaughter Rosemary and daughter-in-law Krista and son-in-law Alex.
Services for Chip Morgan will be held at Hollomon-Brown Great Neck Chapel 1264 Great Neck Road, N., Virginia Beach 23454 (757) 496-9727 on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00am.
