J.C. Lumley, 70, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, November 24, 1951, in Lenox, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Alvis "Abb" Lumley and the late Carrie Obera Adkins Lumley. Mr. Lumley was a former employee of Dyersburg Fabrics and retired from SRG Global. He was a member of Lenox Baptist Church and an avid golfer.
A Celebration of Life visitation for Mr. Lumley will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Lenox Baptist Church.
He leaves to treasure his memory, his wife Natalie Metzinger Lumley of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sons, Logan Lumley (Jeannette) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and J.C. Lumley, Jr. (Mary) of Horn Lake, Mississippi; two daughters, Lydia Elizabeth Lumley (Austin) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Brandy Gatlin of Horn Lake, Mississippi; two brothers, Thomas Lumley (Anita) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Larry "Cotton" Lumley (Cyndi) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sisters, Wava Lumley of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Joyce Warren (Sam) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, and Fran Gregory of Dyersburg, Tennessee, seven grandchildren, Gerald, Tyler, Cody, Bryan, Willie, Jessie, and Eden and his mother and father-in-laws, Cora and Larry Anderson of Finley, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Alvis Lumley, Jr., and Ossie Lumley: two sisters Rose Moser and Lois Lumley and one grandson, Bradley.
