J. Louise Magaldi, 81, a resident of Easton for over 50 years, passed away on March 21, 2025 at The Copley at Stoughton. She was the loving wife of James J. Magaldi for 58 years.
Born and raised in Brighton, a daughter of the late Dr. Carl A. and Pauline G. (Chartier) DeSimone, she was a graduate of Holy Cross Academy in Brookline. Louise continued her education at Anna Maria College in Paxton where she earned her Bachelor of Art in Fine Arts.
Louise was employed by the Town of Norton for 30 years and was a beloved Elementary Art School Teacher who taught at the L.G. Nourse Elementary School and retired from the J.C. Solmonese Elementary School.
Louise was a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association.
Her creative talents transcended into food. She was avid gourmet cook and enjoyed hosting family parties. She enjoyed visits to Italy, Hawaii, California & the Caribbean on various vacations.
Louise cherished the time she spent with immediate family and close cousins at the family cottage on Lake Alexander in Dayville, CT. She was a devoted wife and mother.
In addition to her husband James, she is survived by two children, Diana J. Magaldi of Easton and James J. Magaldi of Easton; a sister, Denise Jung of Brighton; three grandchildren, Jenna G. Magaldi of San Francisco, CA., Alicia J. Magaldi of Easton and Nicholas J. Magaldi of Easton; nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Paul D. DeSimone and Carl A. DeSimone II.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Friday at 9:30 a.m. from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton followed by a funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, Easton, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations in Louise's memory may be sent to the charity of one's own choice.
