Jerry "Phyllis" Wilton, age 89, of Clarkston, Michigan, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, in Spring, Texas. Born on Tuesday, April 30, 1935, Phyllis is preceded in death by her beloved husband the late Claire Wilton, with whom she shared 55 wonderful years of marriage and Beloved Daughter in Law Lorna Wilton. She is survived by her cherished family: Pam (Ron) Stafford, Mike (late Lorna) Wilton, Sandy Wilton, Valerie (Greg) Angst, Sheri (Dave) Colyer; Loving Grandmother of: Ryan (Jen) Stafford, Rob (LeighAnne) Stafford, Renee (Bill) Bone, Randy (Kristi) Stafford, Jason (Cheryl) Wilton, Melony (Michael) Lee, Kevin Albert, Jaclyn (Tom) Martindale, Jacob (Kenzie) Wilton, Poe (Brooklynn) Autrey, Clay (Chloe) Autrey, Ty (Chassity) Autrey, Alyssa Autrey, Andrew Colyer, Chelsea (Matt) Parker. Great Grandmother of 35 Precious Children that she adored, Her very special niece and nephew Debra David and Jim Simmons and her special friend Audrey Allen. Phyllis was celebrated for her diverse talents in quilting, oil painting, ceramics, and sewing, but above all, she was treasured as the best mother ever. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and warmth that will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. Interment Waterford Center Cemetery.
