Charles Jack Boeschel, age 93, died on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Baptist Health Louisville.

Born in Louisville to the late Agnes and Garnett Boeschel, Jack was a graduate of duPont Manual High School and was a retired supervisor for LG&E after 40 years of service. He was very active in the Masonic Order (including Master of Preston Lodge), York Rite and DeMolay. Additionally, he was very active in his church, St Andrew United Church of Christ and before that Zion United Church of Christ. Other civic
activities he was involved with included Habitat for Humanity, Boy Scouts of America and the South East Associated Ministry Board.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Agnes Ellis and Anita Schott. Jack is survived by his wife of 72 years, Betty Kissling Boeschel; his children, Robert J. Boeschel (Becky), Jackie Mindel (Michael), and Alan J. Boeschel (Sandra); his sister, Mary Ellen Lewis; his grandchildren, Christopher Michael Mindel, Thomas Andrew Mindel (Michelle), Caitlin Marie Boeschel, Jacob Alan Boeschel (Emily), Kevin Troxell (Amber) and Erin Troxell; and his great-grandchildren, Adeline, Wesley, and Lily Troxell.

Visitation for Jack will be from 2-8 pm on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., 40205. His funeral service will be at 5 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at St. Andrew United Church of Church, 2608 Browns Ln., 40220. (private burial at a later date)
