Jack Edwin Bowers, age 89, of Randolph, passed away on September 19, 2024. He was born in Akron, Ohio on October 9, 1934 to the late Grant Cedar and Mary Florence (Neptune) Bowers. He met and married Nancy Emery in 1955. They built their own home in 1965 in Randolph and raised their three children. He retired with 40 years of service from Goodyear Tire Company in 1997, where one of his tires won the Indy 500. He enjoyed gardening all of his life and was an avid bird and dog lover.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Charlin (Emery) Bowers in 1999; and 2 brothers Harold and John Bowers.
He is survived by his sister Gladys Ross; children Terie (Jay) Musgrove, Michael (Pam) Bowers, Anita Bowers; grandchildren Michelle and Gary, Heather and Nicholas; and 11 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends, especially his niece Karen.
Visitation will be Thursday September 26th 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Thursday 1:30 PM at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
