Jack B. Choules, 81, of Pleasant View, UT, passed away peacefully in his home Sunday, August 4, 2024, with his wife by his side.
Jack was the eldest of three sons, born on June 20 1943, in Preston, Idaho, to Jack C. Choules and Maxine Choules. He learned the value of hard work early, growing up on his family's dairy farm in Clifton, Idaho, where he also developed a passion for gardening.
Jack attended Tech college, where he studied electronic engineering and found his passion for computers. He retired at the age of 62 from White Dot where he worked at Hill Air Force Base fixing computers for the rest of his career.
Jack bought a house in the early 70's in Pleasant View, UT where he raised cattle and grew a beautiful garden. Jack had a son Jake C. Choules and a daughter Jennifer Choules with Nancy VanAllen. He met the love of his life in 1991 Joanne Choules, whom he married in 1995. Jack lovingly accepted Joanne's two daughters, Tabitha Yates and Tiffany Baica, as his own. Together they shared an amazing life together for 32 years.
Jack was known for his big personality, he loved to talk to people, also cracking joes, and telling them stories of growing up in Clifton, Idaho on the farm and the adventures he had working on computers. Jack loved to watch western movies. If he was not inside watching them, you would find him outside taking care of his cattle and tending to his garden. He loved being outside watching the hummingbirds and listening to the trains go by first thing in the morning. Jack was a hard-working, strong man with a kindness and love that filled his heart and spread to other people. Jack was a good man who made sure everyone in his family was taken care of.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Rodney Choules, his nephews Ricky Choules and Brian Choules. He is survived by his wife Joanne Choules, his brother Warren Choules (Sessilee Choules), his son Jake Choules, his daughter Jennife Choules, his stepdaughters Tabitha Yates (Matthew Yates) and Tiffany Baica, 3 nephews and 2 nieces. Jack was loved by 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
He will be missed dearly by his family.
