I spoke with him a few weeks ago. He seemed in decent health considering he was in a nursing home. At graduation recently, I spoke with other faculty on our conversation about Northern. He taught at Northern close to when it first started, Jack was the emeritus faculty member who led faculty into graduation for years. You would find him on the Wheeling campus LRC reading the newspaper daily. I am so sad to read this. I cried. I'm sure other faculty and staff members have good memories of him as well. Deepest condolences to his family.
