Jack Delvin Cornutt Jr., 76, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on April 3rd 2024, surrounded by his family after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on September 17, 1947, in Lewiston Idaho; he was the son of Lucille Margaret Williams and Jack Delvin Cornutt Sr., both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Judy, daughter Lucille Faillaci and her husband Steven, Grandson Justin Cano and his wife Megan, Grandson Forrest Cano, Granddaughter Sarah Whieldon and her husband Matthew, Grandson Steven Faillaci Jr. and four great grandchildren Pepper, Storm, Kai & Elijah.
Jack enlisted into the United States Navy at the age of 17. He was proud to have served his country aboard the USS Sacramento AOE 1 during the Vietnam war, earning an honorable discharge 3 years later.
Jack was a strong Christian by faith and believed that Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior. He was a member of Celebration Church in Georgetown, TX for over 20 years. He was a kind and generous man who never met a stranger. We are comforted in knowing that his reward is eternal life in Heaven.
A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, April 17, 11:00am at Celebration Church Central Austin. 1006 W Koenig Ln, Austin, TX 78756. This day is significant as it would have been Jack & Judy's 58th wedding anniversary.
