John H. Evans Funeral Home - MilfordIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jack Alan Dunaway, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who left this world on February 20, 2026. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 8, 1964, Jack lived a life filled with passion, and love for his family and friends.
Jack was a master carpenter, dedicating his talents to the woodworking industry with unparalleled skill and a keen eye for detail. His contributions enriched many homes, lives, and communities, reflecting the love he poured into his work.
He is survived by his cherished children: Gerçegi Spicker (Robert DeLyons), David Dunaway (Christina Roberts), and Rachel Dunaway. Jack was a proud grandfather to his four grandchildren: Jasmine Spicker (Aiden Kellerman), Grayson Roberts, Alexander Roberts, and Syrüs Spicker. He also leaves behind a wider circle of family and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Jack's interests were as varied as they were vibrant. He found joy in scary movies and long drives that stirred the soul. He loved to travel, cook, and share his delicious creations, proudly showcasing his talents as a chef when feeding his family. He held a special place in his heart for music, and recently, he developed a new love for football, always cheering for underdog teams with enthusiasm and unwavering support.
In celebration of Jack's life, a memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, 10:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home (741 Center Street), followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help offset funeral costs, allowing us to honor Jack's memory in a meaningful way.
Jack Alan Dunaway will be deeply missed by all who knew, loved and cared for him. His warmth, kindness, and spirit will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have shared in his life.
