Jack Elliott Obituary
Jack Elliott passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family
After losing his cherished wife, Marilyn "Sue", he demonstrated immense strength, continuing to live life with zest and enthusiasm. Jack was a, a dedicated truck driver at R&R Logging, and an ardent lover of automobiles and fishing. His love for cars and trucks wasn’t just a hobby - it was a passion that he embraced with his whole heart.
His loving children were the apple of his eye. And he was a doting grandfather, a role he cherished above all else. His Chihuahua, Cardy, was his loyal companion, always by his side, offering unconditional love.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn "Sue" Elliott, and parents Jack Elliott Sr. and Thelma Farley Elliott.
He is survived by his daughters, Holly Jean Elliott, and Jacquline Elliott; stepson James Garner; granddaughters, Ellie Elliott, Brianna Smith, Gracie Sue Smith, and Taylor Elliott; siblings, Debbie Elliott, Jimmy Elliott, Terry Elliott, Kimberly Hicks, Loretta Tye, and Patricia Elliott.
Floral Tributes for Jack Elliott Jr.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 6-8 pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. His funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 2 pm, with Rev. Earl Tye officiating.
Burial will follow at Jack Elliott Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky
