Jack D. Eshelman passed away March 1, 2025, in Altoona, Iowa. Jack was born in Sioux City, Iowa. He later moved to Des Moines, Iowa where he met and married the love of his life, Mary Ann Link, on August 14, 1971. The couple was blessed with two children, Lisa and Tim, and one granddaughter, Alexis. In his career, Jack worked for MercyOne for 37 years, where he made many lifelong friends.
Jack was an avid sports fan; he enjoyed cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He loved fishing, spending time outdoors and watching the wildlife surrounding their home. He enjoyed listening to country music and his favorite artist, Daniel O'Donnell. Jack loved spending time with family and friends, where he never missed an opportunity to brag about his granddaughter. Jack will be forever missed and loved by many.
Jack is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann; daughter, Lisa (Jason) Henrichs; son, Tim (Danielle) Eshelman; granddaughter, Alexis Eshelman; and many other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 15th, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Townsend Community Center, 6615 NE 41st Ave, Altoona, IA 50009.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Healthwell Foundation https://www.healthwellfoundation.org/
or Suncrest Home Health and Hospice in memory of Jack Eshelman.
