It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Michael Kenneth Brown of Altoona Iowa on 10/1/2025 at the age of 62 years. Born in Erie Pennsylvania on 06/01/1963, to James Brown and Verna Waidley. Mike was a hard worker working up until he got sick from Sundberg America part store to temp jobs ranging from moving furniture to K and B redemption. Mike had a burning passion of collecting football and baseball cards. Mike had the talent to bowl a 300 game alongside James Brown, Jerry Torrence and Tom Lukehart.
In Mike's free time he liked to draw a lot, watch football game of the Riders since they were his favorite team, and being a devoted husband to Honey Brown for 39 years made it official in the year 2014. Mike is survived by his wife Honey Brown. His daughter's Ashley Brown, Heather Greenlee (Shawn Greenlee) Amber Miller. His grandchildren Alacard Neil, Olivia Rankin, Aria Weston, Kayson Greenlee. Along with his sisters in law Trisha Miller, Terri Miller and brother-in-law Bobby Miller. A son from a good friend Jodie Parker who had adopted Mike as a father figure Josh Lewis and many nieces and nephews, Lonnie Rattray, (Cecilia Rattray) Nic Rattray and Shawntell Rattray. Just as he dealt with all his experiences in life, Mike has managed his illness with the utmost grace and strength and try to spend time with his family as much as he can.
His love and passion will continue to guide us as we remember him. Through our tears, let us see the blessings of having the privilege of having you as a father, husband, a cherished grandpa and having the chance to love you with every bone in our bodies. We thank you for your love, patience, and laughter. We will miss you to death. Love is like the wind, you can't see it, but you can feel it.
