Jack D. Fordham Jr.

Jack D. Fordham Jr., 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on the July 20, 2025, in Lexington, Kentucky. Born on December 13, 1961, in Butler, Pennsylvania, Jack lived a full life marked by laughter, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Stephanie Fordham; son, Andrew Fordham; daughter, Haley Crupper (Lucas); grandson, LJ Crupper; granddaughter, Kimora Crupper; mother, Sally Fordham; sister, Vicki Nelson (Gary); nephew, Steven Bain (Savanah); nieces, Krista Childers (Glen), and Kendra Bain; brother-in-law, Steve Bain; and many great nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack D. Fordham, Sr.
Jack was known for his hard work and dedication to the Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local 452. He took great pride in his work, bolstering the strength of his union and community through his unwavering commitment and skill.
Those who knew Jack will fondly remember how he transcended the norm with his humor and laid-back personality. A true jokester, Jack's sense of humor was surpassed only by his friendliness and heartening generosity. Friends and family knew that they could always rely on Jack for support, a hearty laugh, or his sage perspective on life's wonders and challenges. Beyond his work, Jack was passionate about outdoor activities. Lake Cumberland was especially dear to him, being the backdrop for numerous family memories filled with fishing, hunting, and boating.
In every sense of the words, Jack was funny, friendly, and generous. He leaves behind a legacy of gentle kindness and a replete catalogue of joy-filled moments for all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A memorial visitation honoring Jack's memory will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 04:00 PM to 07:00 PM at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, Kentucky, 40513. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jack's memory are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
