Jack Louis Glossinger, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and proud veteran, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, at his home in Brentwood, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 20, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, Jack was the beloved son of Eleanor Krkavec and LeRoy Glossinger. He grew up in New Buffalo, Michigan, and went on to earn his degree in Business from Michigan State University in 1964.
Jack began his professional career with Exxon Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he served as a Sales and Marketing Manager for ten years. He later joined 3M Media in Outdoor Advertising, where he continued his career until his retirement in 1998. In retirement, Jack enjoyed working part-time at Vanderbilt Legends Golf Course until 2018, a role that perfectly blended his love for golf with his enjoyment of connecting with people.
A proud veteran, Jack served three years in the U.S. Army, including 18 months stationed in Okinawa with the Army Security Agency. He was honorably discharged in 1960.
In 1962, he married Nadine ("Dee"), and together they built a family founded on pride and love. He is survived by their three devoted children: Bradley J. Glossinger (Mary) of Brentwood, Tennessee, and their daughter, Emily (Brad); Brent L. Glossinger (Heather) of Littleton, Colorado, and their sons, Colton (Ana) and Anders; and Jennifer A. Glossinger of Pensacola, Florida.
Jack's warmth, unwavering presence, and gentle sense of humor left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him, and he will be profoundly missed.
A private ceremony for family will be held at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jack's honor to Alive Hospice
