Jack E. Johnson, 60, of Dolgeville, NY, entered into eternal rest on September 1, 2023, following a brief illness at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica, NY.  Jack was comforted by the presence of his family in the days leading up to his passing.

Jack was born to Christopher F. Johnson and the late Nandine M. (Green) Johnson on July 22, 1963, at Little Falls Hospital. He was raised in Dolgeville, NY, and was a graduate of Dolgeville Central School. Upon his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He also held various positions at Keymark Corp., North Hudson Woodcraft, Gehring Tricot Corp., and Jim Bonnell Trucking, Inc.

In his younger years, Jack enjoyed bowling on various leagues at Gorge View Lanes in Little Falls and Dolgeville Bowling Center. He was also an enthusiastic fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Yankees.

Jack is survived by his children, Jocelyn Watson of Tennessee, Kayla (William) Sliter of Georgia, Justin Johnson of Herkimer, Desirae Johnson of Ilion, and Raelyn Knapp (Bill McCumber) of Manheim. He is also survived by his father, Christopher, and his siblings and their spouses: Kevin (Marion) of Saratoga, Mark (Cindy) of Dolgeville, Gary (Jodi) of Mississippi, Paul (Linda) of Little Falls, Robert (Tammy) of Newfield, Christopher "Rick" (Barb) of Salisbury, and Darlene (George) Hagarty of Florida. Other survivors include twelve grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Nandine, his brother, David "Bugsy," and his niece, Shannon Kane.

In keeping with Jack's wishes, there are no calling hours. Burial will take place at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction and care of Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, town of Manheim, 315-508-5131.
