On February 1, 2026, Jack Miller Kapphan, age 102, of Pittsburgh, formerly of McCandless Township, passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Ouida Kapphan; father of the late Mark Kapphan and Yvonne Ouida Kapphan Geisler Weatherwalk; grandfather of Jill Geisler, Troy (Rebecka) Geisler, Jenna (Dave) Geisler, Olivia Geisler, and Clark (Jessica) Kapphan; and great-grandfather of Adeline and Lincoln Geisler, Lynevaeh, Brantley, and Caylee Kapphan. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Jane Kapphan, and his brothers, William, Ken, and Howard Kapphan.

Private arrangements are entrusted to Simons Funeral Home, 7720 Perry Highway. Contributions may be made in Jack's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org
