Jack M. Loewenstein

Jack Loewenstein, age 96 went to be with his Lord on February 2, 2025. Jack was born to Saul and Marjorie Loewenstein in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and was brother to the late Lois Scott. He was a beloved husband, son, father, sibling, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather. More than that, he was a man of great strength, stellar character and most of all compassion that was expressed in a thousand different ways in his lifetime. Dad believed that all acts of kindness should be done quietly and from the
heart. Therefore, few know the extent of his compassion, generosity and love for others.
Jack invariably believed that talk alone was cheap unless it led to action, to make this a better world. He was recognized as an absolutely brilliant scientist and intellectually gifted man. More importantly, Jack was a man of humility and obedient to the Word of God. He was not blinded by the idols of this world such as riches, power or acclaim, but lived to serve God and his fellow human beings. He was a quiet and reserved man yet had the most delightful sense of humor. He often stated that he came into this world quietly and wanted to leave in the same manner. He did not want flowers after death, because so many gave him "true flowers" during his lifetime.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Arline, children Linda (Gabriele) Brega and David (Susan) Loewenstein and grandchildren Rachel, Amy, Daniel and Alex and the rest of our family and dear friends who will all greatly miss Dad's kindness, humor, knowledge integrity and great insights. Jack will be missed more than words can ever express.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Lakeside Memorial Park, 10301 NW 25th Street, Doral, Florida 33172. Arrangements by Levitt-Weinstein Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert Memorial Chapel (305) 932-2700.
