Jack Horton Lynn, 89, of Greenville passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 after a battle with cancer and dementia. Jack was a native of Jefferson, SC. He served four years in the US Navy on the USS Los Angeles (CA-135) from 1954-1958. He attended the University of South Carolina for both Undergraduate and Law school graduating in 1965. Jack was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. While a student he worked as a pipefitter for Daniel Construction. Jack started private practice in Columbia with Henry H. Edens before working for the US District Attorneys office in Charleston. On August 1, 1969 he began his private practice in Greenville until he retired in 2020. He is survived by his wife Sue of 57 years, his son Jim Lynn and wife Heather, granddaughters (The Honies) Scout and Jada, daughter Suzanne Lynn and faithful companion Sarge.
The family would like to thank Dee Beasley for the dedicated care she provided for Jack. A private service will be held by family at a later date.
