Jack McRae Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Modetz Funeral Home - Silverbell Chapel on Nov. 25, 2024.
Jack Wallace McRae, age 90, of Oakland Twp, Michigan, passed away peacefully and surrounded in love and prayer by his family on November 24, 2024.
Jack married the love of his life, Cicely Ellen Glauz, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They celebrated 61 years of marriage in April this year.
Jack has achieved many noteworthy accomplishments throughout his 90 years of life, including service in the US Army as a 4th Class Specialist, a graduate of U of D Mercy with an Associates in Business, and a long-time entrepreneur and business-owner of a specialized tooling business, Maxi-Grip, in Warren, Michigan, where Jack worked the entirety of his career. He retired and sold his business at the age of 83.
Jack has been a beacon of faith to his family, friends and people along his path for decades. A Bible theologian in his own right, a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a Bible teacher at an assisted-living center in Romeo, MI, for 40+ years represent his faithfulness and sincere love for the Lord. His greatest legacy - leading many many souls to Christ.
Jack is survived by his ever-loving and faithful wife Cicely Ellen McRae, his three children, Timothy D. McRae, Cairine J. Kroening (husband Kevin), and Guinevere G. Radomski (husband Michael); seven grandchildren: Joshua Kroening (wife Makayla), Jacob Kroening (wife Kailey), Connor Radomski, Callie Kroening, Nolan Radomski, Kaitlyn Kroening, and Aaron McRae; and one great-grandchild Walker Kroening; as well as two great-grandsons who will soon come into the world.
As the patriarch of the McRae family, Jack will be sorely missed and continually celebrated as a loving and committed husband, and a kind-hearted, sweet, generous and wise father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, friend, and brother in Christ to many.
