Jack Niederer Obituary
Preceded in death by his parents, Ernst and Hildegard, and two brothers, Gordon and Bob, and his sister Ruth.
Jack was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He served in the Korean War in 1951 through 1953. He earned the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal. Jack worked as a Plant Engineer for Briggs & Stratton for over 30 years. He led efforts to help build the Menomonee Falls plant.
He spent his retirement years residing for six months in Florida and then came back to permanently stay in Milwaukee. He was an avid snow bird and loved to travel. Jack was a dedicated usher for the Milwaukee Brewers and continued his passion for the team. He enjoyed playing senior softball nationally into his eighties and especially loved playing in the outfield.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM, with his memorial service at 11:30 AM on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Inurnment to follow at Valhalla Memorial Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Wounded Warrior Project.
