Jack C. Oberhart Jr. of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully surrounded by family August 13, 2025. Born November 22, 1950 in Chicago Illinois to the late Jack Sr. and late Mary Lu Oberhart. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Boza) Oberhart; loving father of Eric (Kirsten Rhude) Oberhart of Duluth MN; caring brother of Anne (Scott) Bieda of Arlington Heights, Michael (Ly Loi) Oberhart of Los Altos, CA and Ellen Oberhart of Chicago. Jack is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
After graduating from Illinois Institute of technology, Jack made a career and an excellent reputation as a director in audiovisual technology. He will be greatly missed.
Please join us in honoring Jack Oberhart Jr. Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Cardinal Funeral Home 7715 US Route 14 Crystal Lake, IL 60012 for a memorial visitation. A private inurnment will take place at Holy Sepulcher Catholic Cemetery.
