Jack Lee Pemberton Jr., "Jackie", a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on
November 14, 1961. He left this earthly realm to be with his heavenly father on April 29,
2025, living a life filled with passion, creativity, and love for those around him. Jackie was
63 years old at the time of his graduation from this earth, and he will be deeply missed
by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jackie was born to Dr. Jack Pemberton(father) and Dr. Dianne Pemberton (mother). Jackie
was raised in an environment rich with support, encouragement and a deep love for his
Lord and Savior ensuring that he flourished into the kind-hearted and fun-loving individual
he became. Jackie leaves behind his girlfriend, Ginger Linds, his best buddy William
"Bart" Smith, and his best four-legged friend, Laci. He was a proud brother to Kristi Ilar
and Daniel Pemberton, nephew to Dr. David and Mrs. Vickie Smith, cousins Davey (Treva
Smith), Windy, and Mike Smith (Kari Smith), cousins Lisa, John, and David Pemberton. His
love extended to his nieces and nephews: Molli Nyburg (Sam Nyburg), Emmalee Hart
(Len Hart), Lenzi Valedon (Jose Valedon), Sarah Ilar, Blake Pemberton, and Austin
Pemberton. Jack's family was his pride and joy, and he found immense delight in
spending time with his many great nieces and nephews, nurturing their spirits with his
warmth and creativity.
Jack is preceded in death by his father, Dr. Jack L. Pemberton, his maternal grandparents,
Dr. and Mrs. Charles E. Stansberry, paternal grandmother Audrey Bennett and husband
Dave, paternal grandfather Bob "S.R." Pemberton and wife Ann "Annie Grannie", uncle
Charles Eugene Pemberton, "Uncle Gene" and wife Lynn Pemberton, cousins Bob
Pemberton and Charles "Chip" Stansberry, and brother-in-law, James Ilar. Their memories
will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Jack's professional life was marked by his dedication to the sport he loved. As the owner
of G-Force Indoor Golf, he shared his passion for golf by giving lessons and serving as a
golf instructor. His love for the game was evident as he held a pro card in the PGA circuit,
which he cherished throughout his life. Jackie also enjoyed being in the great outdoors
fishing and hunting in his free time.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jack was an active member of his
community. He attended Honey Rock Victorious Church in Knoxville, TN, where he
developed lasting friendships and contributed to the spirit of fellowship. Jack had the
opportunity to travel to Ghana, Africa as a missionary with Apostle Jerry Upton and
brothers and sisters in Christ from Honey Rock Victorious Church where they spent time
building church's and ministering to the people of the villages. Jack's artistic side shone
through in his hobbies, as he loved engaging in various art projects that showcased his
creativity.
A funeral service to honor Jack's life will be held on May 6, 2025, with receiving of friends
at 5:30 PM to be followed by the service honoring his life at 7:00 PM at Holley Gamble
Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate the
remarkable life of a man who enriched the world with his kindness and joy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Honey Rock
Victorious Church in Knoxville, TN, to continue the spirit of giving that Jack embodied
throughout his life.
Jack Lee Pemberton leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and creativity that will be
remembered by all whose lives he touched. His vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness
will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Rest in peace, Jackie. You are
loved beyond measure.
Graveside services will be held on May 7th at 11:00 AM at Grandview Memorial Gardens
219 Longmire Road in
Clinton, TN.
