Jack Allen Pickard, Jr., age 61, of Forrest City, Arkansas, passed away on January 12, 2024 at his home.  Jack was born on June 17, 1962, to Frankie L. McLain Pickard and Jack A. Pickard, Sr., in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.  Jack attended Adamsville Elementary and Adamsville High School, where he graduated in 1980.  Jack also attended the University of North Alabama in Florence to study art.  Jack was a gifted artist.  He used his talents to create beautiful custom works at Glassical, Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee.  His favorite medium was charcoal and his drawings and sketches are both beautiful and unusual.  He especially loved abstract art.

Jack absolutely loved everything car! He enjoyed watching races and attending car shows and auctions.  He had a great knowledge of working on car engines and auto body work, which he passed on to and bonded over with his children. He was also an avid gun and coin collector.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Frankie L. McLain Pickard; father, Jack A. Pickard, Sr.; maternal grandparents Maizie Tucker McLain and Sanford O. McLain; and his paternal grandparents, Anna Laura and Edward Alexander Pickard.

Jack was a kind and loving man, who leaves behind many who loved him very much. His special sense of humor will be missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Nicholas Allen Pickard (Samantha) and Noah Alexander Pickard (Morgan), all of Forrest City, Arkansas; his sisters, Lynn Pickard Ellis (Rick) of Memphis, Tennessee and Paige Pickard Eisemann (Mike) and his niece Amy of Clarksville, Tennessee; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jack is a member of the Adamsville First United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to Come and See Community Kitchen at Adamsville First United Methodist Church.
