Mr. Postell was a native of Florida, and a resident of Tampa for 46 years. He attended public schools in Alachua County. He was employed for many years in the Sales field. He was retired at the time of his death.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory with: his wife, Carrol Postell; daughter, Ashley Postell of Tampa, FL; son, Austin Postell (Phylicia) of San Diego, CA; granddaughter, Cassidy Munnings of Tampa, FL; step-grandson, Davon Crenshaw of San Diego, CA; siblings, Betty DeCoursey of Gainesville, FL, Virgil Postell of Orlando, FL, and Douglas Postell of Houston, TX; aunt, Mary James of Massachusetts; in-laws, Bernice Pruitt Wilson (Demetris), Allie Hobdy (Leon), Debra White, Thaddeus Pruitt, and Richard White.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.

I was blessed to meet Jack thru my neighbor Chuck Everett, when he asked me to play baseball with him and Jack,on The Nighthawks ball team. I can safely say that he was one hell of a ball player,and always smiling and laughing. As with you and Chuck you will aways be my brothers. God bless you and your families.
