Jack Prewitt Obituary

Mr. Prewitt was born April 22, 1950 in Griffin, Ga. He was the son of the late Jack Paul Prewitt and Naomi Noel Prewitt Olson. Mr. Prewitt was a Veteran of the United State Army. He worked for Winn Dixie many years where he was a store manager. Following his retirement from Winn Dixie, he owned and operated Preferred Amusement and later retired from Sam's Club. Mr. Prewitt was a member of the Southern Cruiser Car Club where he served as president for many years. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Keith (Gator) Prewitt and his sister, Paula Pilkenton.
Survivors include his wife, Daphney Prewitt; sons and daughter-in-law, Patrick Prewitt and Brian and Jessica Prewitt; grandchildren and their spouses, Cameron and Savannah Prewitt; Hailey and Ian Moore, Reece and Mazzi Prewitt, and Zoe Prewitt; bonus grandchildren, Mati McDaniel and Tristan McDaniel; great-grandchildren, Camdyn Prewitt and Saverleigh Prewitt; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheena Terrell, Joyce and Sammy Bunn; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Angie Prewitt; nieces, nephews and other family also survive.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, 1155 Everee Inn Road, Griffin, Ga. 30224 is in charge of arrangements.
