Mr. Jack Rains, 91, of Snyder, TX, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital. A funeral service for Mr. Rains will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with pastor Reid Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Rains was born on August 22, 1933, to Bud Milton and Alma Irene (Greer) Rains at Ennis Creek in Scurry County, TX. Jack married Jeanette Ballenger on September 30, 1978, in Midland, TX. He was a United States Army Veteran, and worked for the U.S. Border Patrol in Pecos, TX for 32 years. Some of his favorite joys were RVing, Traveling, and doing home improvement. Jack was the Worshipful Master of the Pecos Valley Masonic Lodge, and a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church in Snyder, TX. He was a proud husband, father, and grandfather.

Karen Rains of Big Spring, TX,
Breela Barnett of Kermit, TX,
Nikky DeFranco of Kermit, TX;
1 Grandson,
Dusty Barnett of Odessa, TX;
And 6 Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his,
Parents,
Bud and Alma Rains;
1 Sister,
Robyn Roden;
1 Step-Son,
Bobby Klepper;
and 1 Sister,
Sherry Rains.
