It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jack Edward Sayre, a remarkable man who touched the lives of many. Jack left us on March 25, 2025, in Lone Tree, Colorado, at the age of 65. He is survived by his wife, Annette; his beloved daughter, Candace, and son-in-law, Jai; his stepdaughter, Amanda; and his cherished siblings, Marty, Nancy, and Steve, as well as his nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his stepson.
Born on June 3rd, 1959 in Germany, Jack’s journey was one of resilience and ambition. After graduating from high school in Iowa, he pursued higher education at Colorado State University, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with purpose. In 2008, Jack and Annette exchanged vows in a celebration in Las Vegas, Nevada, marking the beginning of a beautiful partnership that would blossom over the years. Jack possessed a sharp wit that brought joy and laughter to those around him. He had a profound love for his feline companions and a unique spirit; he inspired those fortunate enough to know him to enjoy life’s simplicity and complexities.
To honor Jack’s incredible life and enduring legacy, a celebration of life service will be held on April 17th,2025 at Horan & McConaty, at 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO 80014. This gathering offers an opportunity for all who knew and loved him to come together, share heartfelt stories, and celebrate his indelible impact on our lives. Everyone is welcome to attend and join in commemorating the life of an extraordinary man who will always be remembered and dearly missed. Flowers can be sent to Horan & McConaty in Aurora.
