Jack Howard Trissel Jr., born on December 14, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home in North Olmsted on November 3, 2025, after a courageous four-year battle with emphysema. He was surrounded by his loving family during his final moments, leaving behind cherished memories and an enduring legacy.
Jack graduated from Berea High School and went on to become a respected business owner, proudly establishing Transway Auto Lease. He was self-employed and thrived in the sales industry, earning the trust and respect of his clients and peers alike. He was a true entrepreneur.
A devoted husband to his beloved wife, Sharon Trissel (nee Landreth), Jack is survived by their son, Justin Trissel, their daughter, Jennifer Stimac (Scott), and adoring grandsons, Collin and Gavin Trissel. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Steban (Raymond), and his parents, Jack Sr. and Joan (nee Cipriani).
Jack was a man of many passions. He relished power-boating, fly fishing, riding his cherished Fat Boy Harley Davidson with friends, and indulging in clay pigeon shooting. But above all, golf was his true love, a game he embraced with enthusiasm and joy.
Friends and family are encouraged to come together in honor of Jack's life and the love he shared. In this solemn moment, we will remember his kindness, dedication, and the countless ways he touched our lives. A public visitation will be held at Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Rd., Avon OH, 44011, on Monday, November 17, from 4pm - 7pm. A Mass for Jack will be held at St. Clarence Church, 30106 Lorain Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070, on Tuesday, November 18, at 11:00am.
