Gene Trissel Obituary

Gene will be forever missed and remembered by his family, four children: Deborah (Dave) Castle, Whispering Pines, N.C.; Brent Holt, Piqua, OH; Jill Trissel, Piqua, OH; and Anne (Eugene) Manns, Jr., Piqua, OH. Seven Grandchildren: Jessica, Andrea, Paige, Zayne, Jaelyn, Jesse, and Gianna. Two Great Grandchildren: Ava and Dominic.
Gene was preceded in death by one sister: Diane Austin.
Gene was a 1956 graduate of Piqua Central High School and worked for Paul Sherry in Piqua. Gene enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and had pleasure in hunting and fishing. He enjoyed following the children and grandchildren's activities and events. He loved spending time with his family and especially moments he could take walks with his children and grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 30,2025 at 1:30 pm at Forest Hill Cemetery 8660 N. St. Rt. 66 Piqua, Ohio 45356. Arrangements are in the care of Melcher Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua.
