OSCAR BINGHAM, JUNIOR, 69, of Piqua, Ohio, passed away on January 30, 2025 from complications from surgery. Junior was born on February 26, 1955 to the late Oscar Bingham, Senior and his wife Troy (Messer) Bingham in Piqua, OH. He married Peggy (Rose) Bingham 50 years ago on November 24, 1974, and she survives.
Also surviving are their two children, Branden Bingham (and his significant other, Cynthia Buford) and Chad Bingham (and his wife, Elizabeth Bingham); three grandchildren Jacob Evan Bingham, Byron Bingham, and Norrin Bingham; sisters Patty Bingham and Maggie (Bingham) Mantooth, both of Piqua, OH; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; and beloved cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother: Gill Bingham, sister: Evelyn (Bingham) Gambill, two brothers-in-law: James "Woody" Gambill, Senior and Roger Mantooth, and a niece: Shelly (Bingham) Faulkner.
Junior and his wife, Peggy, were owners of J.T. Auto Sales in Fort Loramie, OH for 32 years. He was also employed at Monarch in Sidney, OH for 18 years. Junior had a deep love for cars and enjoyed a good conversation about them. He also loved watching westerns on his big TV, where he could relax and enjoy his favorite shows. Above all, he loved his friends and family deeply. Although, Junior is gone, he will forever live in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Celebration of Junior's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday February 6, 2025 at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home in Piqua, OH with his great-nephew Kyle Gambill Celebrant. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, OH.
