Jack Phillip Trujillo passed always in his sleep peacefully on his birthday August 23, 2025 while on being on hospice less than a day he is now in peace free of cancer.

Jack was born in Albuquerque NM in 1939. He was a very hard worker and worked in construction and was a very talented brick mason. He went back to school and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1970. He then went on to graduate in 1971 from Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute and received his Diploma in Machine Trades. Jack worked for the City of Albuquerque till he retired.

Jack my dad was a very kind man and had a strong faith in God. He would always greet everyone with a smile. He enjoyed holidays with his family and always enjoyed going to the post to have a beer and talk to his friends.

He was very talented and had a love of music. He enjoyed playing his guitar, or some piano. He had a large collection of music. He had recordings of his brother David (bullets) playing the piano, who was in a band in the early day. He especially loved and looked forward to the biscochitos I made at Christmas time.

He will greatly be missed.

He is survived by his wife Irene Trujillo. Daughter Marie Luna, husband Ronald and grandson, Angelo Luna. Sister Dorothy Gutierrez and husband Ray, Sister, Shirley Corbin Trujillo husband Larry. Nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Trujillo, his parents, Jack and Louise Trujillo, brothers, James and David Trujillo.

We will miss my brother so much, he was so kind to everyone and a hard working man. Here is picture with my mother and Jack. And a picture of his little chihuahua Rudy. Rudy now lives with us and that feels like Jack is always close by. We love you Jack.
