Jack Phillip Wiley, 89, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born in York, PA, on August 29, 1936, he was the son of the late Elmer Wiley and Olive (Hayes) Wiley. Jack was the devoted husband of Nancy Lou (Knaub) Wiley, with whom he shared 63 years of loving marriage.

Jack attended Hellam High School and went on to work for CertainTeed Roofing, where he dedicated many years producing and inspecting roofing materials. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, proudly serving his country until his discharge in 1957.

A man who found joy in life's simple pleasures, Jack enjoyed watching TV, camping, barbeques, playing cards, and, most of all, spending cherished time with his family. His quiet strength, sense of humor, and devotion to his loved ones will be remembered always.

In addition to Nancy, he leaves behind his 1 son, Jason Wiley; his 4 daughters, Kelly Wiley, Tracy Grohman, Holly (Jeff) Warner, and Hope Stuart; his 11 grandchildren; his 4 step-grandchildren; his 9 great-grandchildren; his 4 step-great-grandchildren; his 1 great great-grandchild on the way; his cat, Louie; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer; his brother, Robert Wiley; and his sister, Dawn Harman.

A memorial celebration of life will be held Monday, October 13, 2025, 11AM, at Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home, Inc., 3125 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation from 10AM-11AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
