Jack Leroy Woolen, age 92, of Franklin, passed away September 25, 2025. He was born on July 26, 1933, in Indianapolis to Charles and Ruth Woolen. He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School before serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. Jack worked in the elevator industry for many years, retiring in 1994. He was an avid golfer who loved living in Florida during the winter season.
Jack is survived by his wife: Susan Woolen; children: Scott (Anne) Woolen, and David (Joyce) Woolen; stepchildren: Jamie (Larry) Atwell, Cindy (Robert) Shonk, James Dillon, and Deena (Rich) Gilliatt; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Ruth Woolen; sons: Tony Woolen, Mark Woolen; and daughter: Robin Kirk.
Private services will take place at a later date.
