Jacki Gayle Bross
Jacki Gayle Bross loved life, her family and cherished her faith and her country. Her life was centered around her niece and nephews and the many children she cared for over her life.
Spencer, Audrey and Terrell Mabrito and Trey, Trevor and Christian Bross were her joy. Jacki spent the majority of her free time caring for them, taking them to the zoo and many other attractions, and traveling with them, often with their Granny Gayle, her mother. She was a joyful person, and their lives are forever inspired by her, especially as she endured illness in her later life. They are without a doubt better human beings because of her. In fact, all who knew her are the better because of her.
Jacki was a very brave soul who never complained about her health challenges, which were many. Her faith and her family sustained her against great odds. Her niece and nephews cared for her during times of struggle as she had so lovingly cared for them years before. Jacki went to heaven on June 9, 2023, at the age of 62.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Jack and Gayle Bross. She is survived by her niece and nephews and her sister Terri Mabrito and husband Scott, her brother Todd Bross and wife Andrea. We are so grateful to Jacki for her constant care and love for our children and for us. She will be greatly missed and always loved.
A graveside service will be held at Mission Park South, 1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214, at 10 am on Thursday June 15, 2023. The celebration of her life will continue from noon to 2 pm at Parkhills Baptist Church - 17747 San Pedro Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78232.
