Jackie Arnold passed away on Tuesday, September 16th, surrounded by his beloved family. Public Services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at First Baptist Church at 3:00 pm, immediately followed by a graveside burial at Southview Cemetery.

Born on December 06, 1931, in a section known as Silvertown, Jackie was lifelong resident of Thomaston, Georgia. After returning to Thomaston after serving his country in the Korean War, Jackie served as a disciple of Jesus on earth as a faithful member of First Baptist Church. For over forty years, he managed The Economy Supply Co., which provided hardware and plumbing supplies to Thomaston. A stalwart of the community, he drove the "Cancer Car" for those Thomaston residents who needed transportation to their treatment. He now sits in testament to His grace and salvation in Heaven, as he did on earth.

On par with his love of Jesus was that for his family: He is survived by his wife, Bessie Arnold, and his children, Andrew Arnold, Nancy Coogler. He is preceded in death by his daughters, Julie Ann Arnold, and Leslie Boyt. His legacy extends to twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, who will all tell stories of Jackie Arnold and lived life with an endless, youthful spirit.

Jackie Arnold has returned to his Lord and is smiling down on his community, his family, and the life he well-lived.
