Jackie Sue Curless Conner, 71, entered into rest on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Jackie was born on December 23, 1953, in Springfield, Ohio to the late Alice Curless Giddens. She was the heart and soul of her family, always putting others before herself and offering a steady, loving presence in times of need.

Jackie’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, with whom she created countless cherished memories. As a devoted mother, she was fierce in her love and unwavering in her support, always ready to stand up for her children when they needed her most.

A dedicated and hardworking woman, Jackie took pride in her job at Pineoaks Lodge, where her warmth and tenacity left a lasting impact on those around her. With a spirit as strong as it was kind, she faced life’s challenges head-on, proving time and again that she was, indeed, a "tough cookie" with a heart full of love.

Jackie embraced life with passion, resilience, and an unshakable devotion to those she held dear. Her legacy of love, strength, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.

In addition to her mother, Jackie was preceded in death by her siblings, Melvin Giddens and Margie Giddens, and son-in-law, Zedrick Scott.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of 39 years, Robert Conner; children, Teresa Schmitz (John) of Hampton, Georgia, Brandy Tucker, and Tracey Garcia, both of Warner Robins, Georgia; grandchildren, Damon Allen and Brent Allen, both of Hampton, Georgia, Jacob Tucker, Shawn Tucker, and Leslie Tucker, all of Warner Robins, Georgia, Brooke Allen of Marlton, New Jersey, Zedrick Scott, Jr. of Macon, Georgia and Dasia Askew of Warner Robins, Georgia; and sisters, Shirley Mullis and Ruth Ann Giddens, along with 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
