Jackie Wayne passed away October 17, 2025, at Milan General Hospital. He was born December 17, 1951, to the late Robert Edward and Ethel Mae Vinson Martin. Jackie was a member of First Baptist Church in Milan. He graduated from Milan High School where he was band co-captain. He served in the National Guard for 7 years and he was an E-7. Jackie Wayne was retired from A O Smith where he worked as an engineer. Jackie Wayne taught Sunday School at Oakwood Baptist Church. He loved to ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Jackie Wayne will be missed as a loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie Martin of Milan; son, Christopher Wayne Martin of Louisville, KY; daughter, Michelle Leigh Dunlap and husband Christopher of Greenfield, TN; and grandchildren, Kylie Marie Dunlap and Christopher Jackson Dunlap.
Besides his parents, Jackie Wayne is preceded in death by two brothers, James Edward Martin and Jerry Franklin "Buddy" Martin.
