Jackie Dane Moore

Jackie Dane Moore, 74, of Cabot, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026. He was born January 2, 1952, in Searcy to the late O.D. (Neal) and Troy Lee Kirkland Moore. Jackie built houses for a brief part of his life, but spent his career working for Wal-Mart for 50 years. Throughout his career, he played an important role in opening and managing many stores across the eastern and northeastern parts of the United States. Jackie was known for his strong work ethic, leadership, and steady commitment to providing for his family. In addition to his parents, Jackie was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Jan Moore; his brother, Roger Wayne Moore; his mother- and father-in-law, Alma and Charles Peterson; and his brother-in-law, William Peterson.

Jackie is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Virginia Moore; his children, Jason Moore of Pangburn, Jeremy Moore (Lauren) of Bald Knob, and Jessica Ultes of Seattle, Washington; his grandchildren, Bethany, Dustin, Ivy, Ellee, and Ashley; his siblings, James Moore (Debbie) of Greers Ferry and Patricia Howard (John) of Cabot; his sister-in-law, Sherri Kambanis (Butch) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; eight nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816. Memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Josh Moore and Keith Moore officiating.
