Jackie Lynn Maiden Renfro, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on February 13, 2025, surrounded by her cherished family. Born on April 6, 1962, in Carrollton, Carroll County, Kentucky, Jackie brought joy and love to all who knew her.
Jackie attended Carrollton United Methodist Church, a place that held significant meaning in her life. Her community involvement and faith was central to her existence, leaving a lasting impact on those around her.
Jackie's passions were as vibrant as her spirit. She had a great love for music, enjoyed watching movies, and savored the simple pleasure of popcorn. The color purple brought her much delight, and she flourished in her role as a caring grandmother. She adored her cat, Lugnut, which added warmth and companionship to her life.
Throughout her life, Jackie embraced her family wholeheartedly. She is survived by her devoted husband, Darwin Renfro; daughters Lynn (Brent) Stucker and Jamie (Jason) Stremme; step-daughters Dawn Glacken, Darnita Jackson, and Amber Wright; son J.R. (Stephanie Riley) Thomas; and step-son Joshua Renfro. She also treasured her siblings, including sisters Janet (Jeff) Gibson, Pamela (Rickye) Locke, and Cindy Norris brothers Rodney (Missy) Maiden, Mike (Kathy) O'Connor, Pat (Cecillia) O'Connor, and Neal (Darlene) O'Connor. Jackie took immense pride in her grandchildren, Trey, Keeley, Theo, Jaxon, Tayylor, Mariah, Miranda, Brian, Dillon, Hallie, and 17 step-grandchildren, with whom she shared countless joyful moments.
Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Richard Maiden; her mother, Virginia Lou Miller; her daughter, Julia King; and her stepson, Justin Renfro. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to resonate through the lives of her family and friends.
A visitation will be held on February 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Carrollton United Methodist Church located at 310 Highland Ave, Carrollton, KY, with a Celebration of Life to follow from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The service will honor her memory and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
