Jacklyn Lee "Jakki" Lloyd-Lee

ISHPEMING, MI - Jacklyn Lloyd-Lee, age 63 of Ishpeming, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025 at home surrounded by her family.

Jakki was born and raised in Marquette, the daughter of Warren and Vivian (Boesler) Poland, Jakki graduated with the Marquette Senior High School Class of 1979. Following graduation, she attended Northern Michigan University and earned her Licensed Cosmetology degree.

She went on to work at several salons before becoming co-owner of her own, The Lion's Den. A gifted and creative hairdresser, Jakki had a passion for coloring hair and even used her talents to make wigs for cancer patients for a time. She dedicated many years to her craft before retiring in 2020.

On July 21, 1996 Jakki married the love of her life, Tim Lloyd-Lee, on the shores of Waikiki Beach. The two first met at Coconuts Karaoke Bar in Cocoa Beach, Florida, in April of 1994 and built a life together full of love and laughter.

Known as the life of the party, Jakki loved spending time by the pool, being around wildlife, and most of all, caring for others. She lived her life with generosity, always ready to lend a hand or brighten someone's day. Her greatest devotion was to her husband and son, who meant the world to her.

Jakki is survived by her husband, Tim; her son, Cooper Lloyd-Lee of Ishpeming; her sister, Cindy (John) Filizetti of Gwinn; her brother, Dave (Christine Peterson) Poland of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Susie Dupras; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Services for Jakki will take place at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral and Cremation Services on Friday, September 12, with visitation from 12:00 pm until the time of services at 2:00 pm. Pastor Kevin Taylor will officiate. A reception will follow in the funeral home reception room.
