I only knew Jackson for a short time. I was fortunate enough to spend some time with him and his sister Mikayla while on a mission trip down in Appalachia. They are both AMAZING kids with kind hearts and beautiful souls. I remember Jackson and how much he loved the little puppies that were at the house that we were working on. Godspeed young man, sorry for the family’s and the world’s loss. I hope you find comfort in your memories of Jackson and how many lives he touched.

Known him since kindergarten, vividly remember going to a birthday party of his painting dino figurines. We lived a street over from each other, our sisters were friends I remember walking to Western Hills. Another memory I have is dancing in the Jungle Book play as zebras. Also remember he would always help me in math class all the way through high school.
Teresa, Makayla, and Chelsea I am so sorry- Jackson will be missed. Sending prayers and hugs to you all.

Jackson was my best friend. He was my soulmate. He is my family. I love him so much and I can´t I wont see him again. I always felt safe and loved whenever I was around him. He always brought such a warmth, a joy, a kindness, never an ounce of hate or judgement in every space he was in. I will miss him so much. I am so sorry for your loss. He was such an amazing person.

One of my favorites. Teachers aren´t supposed to have favorites but the special ones wiggle their way into your heart. I had the privilege of watching Jackson grow up in my classroom as he was with me three separate years (8th, 10th, and 12th grades). Always caring, always kind, always quick with a smile.

We were introduced because we both were looking to meet new friends. Hearing about his bunny, his love of books, and realizing that we had so much in common made me instantly want to be his friend. Jackson pulled me out of my shell, introduced me to movies like Rocky Horror Picture Show and made me smile when he laughed. I´m so thankful that I got the opportunity to meet him, and am devastated that we won´t go see any more movies together.

I worked with Jackson while he was helping our littlest learners with special needs. He was such a gentle soul and had such a big a big heart for helping those around him. He definitely made an impact on the students he was working with!
