Jerrin Michael Crowell

January 13, 1994 – September 14, 2025

Jerrin Michael Crowell, 31, of West Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Iowa Methodist Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Memorial services are pending.

Born January 13, 1994, in Galesburg, Illinois, to Jacki Burn and Garrett Crowell, Jerrin moved to West Des Moines at a young age. He attended Valley High School, where he was part of the class of 2012 and spent time in Brazil as a foreign exchange student. After graduation, Jerrin's adventurous spirit took him to Chicago and Los Angeles before he eventually returned home to Des Moines.

Jerrin's faith was deeply rooted, and he enjoyed attending Hope Lutheran Church. Above all, he was a devoted father who treasured time with his daughter, Ella. He also loved traveling, music-both listening and creating-modeling, and everything Star Wars. Known for his contagious laugh and gift for storytelling, Jerrin had a way of making friends wherever he went. He was dependable, caring, and always ready to help others.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Ella Crowell; his mother, Jacki Burn; father, Garrett Crowell; brothers, Gavin and Jalen Crowell; sister, Samara Talley; stepfather, Tim Talley; stepbrother, Micah Talley; grandmother, Susan Boagard; great-grandmother, Marilyn Elliott; grandparents, Gerald and Jennifer Crowell; aunt, Lindsay Webb; and many other loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Dick Rice, and his uncle, Chase Burn, with whom he shared a special bond.

Jerrin will be remembered for his laughter, kindness, and the joy he brought into the lives of those who loved him.
