Jacky Wayne Hilton

It is with both heavy hearts and joyful memories that we announce the passing of Jacky Wayne Hilton, aged 67, of Rocky Hill, who went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2025. Born on February 20, 1958, in Tennessee, Jacky lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Jacky was an avid hiker who found joy in the breathtaking beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. His passion for the outdoors was matched only by the warmth he exuded in his relationships with family and friends. A devoted Baptist, he lived his life with unconditional love, always extending his heart to children, many of whom he embraced as his own. His legacy of kindness will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched.

Jacky is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sherry Jones-Hilton, as well as his parents, Charles and Bobbie Hilton, his brother Russell (Rusty) Hilton, sister Betty June Hilton-Hitchcock, and his cherished daughter, Shannon.

He is survived by his brothers Robert Hilton (Lamon Hutchinson) and Gary Hilton (Jennifer Hilton), Jacky's chosen family includes son Tim Whitehead (Kim Whitehead), Edward Jones (Amber Solomon), and devoted daughter Wanda Ellison. He was a proud grandfather to Brett Whitehead, Will Whitehead, Nathen Ellison, Izabella Walker, Haley Austin, and Bryson Jones, and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, including Brandi Hilton (Matt Drinnon), Amanda Hilton, Andee Saucier (Ryan Saucier), Zachary Hitchcock (Melissa Hitchcock), and Garrett Hilton. As well as several other extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at Rose Funeral & Cremation – Mann 6200 Kingston Pike on Friday, December 19th from 11:00am-1:00pm with a funeral service to follow. Family and friends will then gather at Rocky Hill Cemetery at 3:00pm for a graveside service.
