Ronald Bowler Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Doolittle Funeral Home on Feb. 12, 2026.
Ronald C. Bowler, 56, of Middletown, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport. Born in New Haven on August 5th, 1969, he was the son of the late Marie Louise (Catardi) Bowler.

Ron is survived by two daughters, Taylor and Jordyn Bowler (Rocky Hill); a stepdaughter Hannah Corbett (Kensington); brother Bruce Bowler (Wallingford); sisters Maria Bowler (North Haven), Gina Bowler (Meriden), and Jackie (Carmine) Zampaglione (North Haven); and two nieces Brittany Zampaglione and Ashley Kawula.

Ron grew up in West Haven. After high school, he successfully opened his own hand car wash business in his hometown. He then continued his career at Westport Auto Craft and Schaller Auto Body in New Britain.

Ron was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Middletown, where he attended meetings for Narcotics Anonymous. He was very involved in the NA community and served as a mentor to other recovering addicts. He loved his motorcycle and went on many charity rides with his NA family.

Ron was a devoted family man who took care of his mom and sister and was a proud father who loved his daughters. He also loved his cats, Charlie and Bella. He had a lively personality that would bring the most uplifting energy into any room he entered.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, February 16th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown, CT.
