Jacob A. Frisch, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2025, in Owasco, NY. Born on January 3, 1985, in Cleveland, OH, Jacob's life was a reflection of kindness, dedication, and love for those who called him friend and came to know him.
Jacob graduated from Chenango Forks Central Schools in 2003, where he was not only known for his academic achievements but also for his spirited participation in high school sports, including wrestling and football. He proudly earned the title of state football champion, furthering his passion for athletics at Hobart College. While attending Hobart College he achieved academic acknowledgment on the Dean's List and received his Bachelor's in Economics. Following his education, Jacob embarked on a remarkable career at Cintas, beginning as an intern right out of college and dedicating 14 years to the company, achieving multiple leadership positions while traveling communities along the East Coast.
Jacob's true essence shone brightly in the way he cherished relationships. He loved animals, traveling and spending time with his family and friends, affectionately known to many as Uncle Jake or simply "brother," regardless of blood ties. His heart was always open, a testament to his selflessness—he would be the first to lend a hand and was often described as someone who would give the shirt off his back for those in need. Whether it was fishing on the lake, hunting, or simply enjoying the great outdoors with friends, Jacob found joy in making memories with those he cared about most.
Baptized as a boy, Jacob accepted Jesus into his heart, living his life embodying love for his Lord and Savior. His faith was evident not just in words but also through his actions, always striving to help others and spread positivity.
Jacob leaves behind his loving parents, Rev. Kenneth and Valerie Frisch, and his second mom, Karen Pomeroy. He is survived by his sisters, Sarah (Jeremy) Pease, Bethany Frisch, and Rebekah Frisch, as well as his best friends who were like brothers, Michael Pomeroy and Andrew Purdie. Jacob's spirit lives on through his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family, including his cherished Aunts, Paulette (Larry) Schoessler and Laurie (Steve) Monson, and Uncles, Randy (Teresa) Seward, Joe Seward, and Terry (Nellie) Frisch.
Jacob is welcomed into eternal rest by his grandparents, Ruth and Allan Seward, Dolores and Jacob Frisch, along with his second dad, "Uncle" Tom Pomeroy.
His family and friends are invited to Celebrate his Life on August 24, 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM, with a reception to follow; both held at Believers Chapel, located at 7912 Thompson Rd, Cicero, NY, 13039.
Jacob A. Frisch will forever be remembered for his unwavering spirit, the love he gave freely, and the countless lives he touched. His memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him and his impact continues, while in the presence of his Savior.
